With this project, Itecons intends to increase its capacity to respond more effectively to industry's challenges in strategic domains identified by the European Commission and aligned with national and regional intelligent specialization strategies.

Moreover, Itecons seeks to strengthen its role as an interface entity between academia and business sector, facilitating the transfer of technologies and knowledge to the industry, promoting national competitiveness, and attracting foreign investment.

- Advanced construction systems, which aim to improve the efficiency, quality, reliability, and sustainability of construction systems;
- Simulation, modeling, and virtualization, which aim to create tools that facilitate the modeling of complex phenomena;
- Prevention, evaluation, and risk mitigation, which aim to foster the development of more resilient communities with safer, healthier, and more sustainable living conditions.
