INTRODUCTION
Itecons is part of a consortium of 13 international partners who share the vision of introducing an innovative Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIP) solution to the building sector.
The main objective of the INNOVIP project is the development of a highly efficient and multifunctional insulation solution for buildings. The aim is to reinvent VIP solutions for the building sector. INNOVIP panels will be versatile, easier to produce and to apply, and will show improved properties over time.

MAIN GOALS
- To develop vacuum insulation panels (Vacuum Insulated Panels - VIP) for the building sector.
- To develop a versatile solution, suitable for application in new or existing buildings (indoor or outdoor applications).
- To reduce the cost of VIP panels by reducing the density of the core material, by incorporating new materials, and by using a cost-effective protective film.
- To develop a product with improved hygrothermal performance that will be easier to produce and apply.
- To contribute significantly to improving energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings.
